Summer in the city

The Challenge
The Greater Hartford Arts Council developed a signature summer event series for the City of Hartford in 2017 to highlight the city’s vibrancy and celebrate its cultural diversity. FourteenG was tasked with creating the initial branding as well as supporting the growth and success of Summer in the City. The Greater Hartford Arts Council has also engaged FourteenG to collaborate on a marketing campaign for “Art, Music + Culture in the Capital City.”
The Solution
Believing in the importance of painting the city in a positive light and promoting Hartford as an attractive place to live and work. We created a branding and marketing campaign which accomplished and exceeded all of our initial goals. We built awareness of the signature summer event series. We celebrated art, music, and cultural diversity in the city. As well as create growth and long-term sustainability of the program receiving funding from United Technology in its second year. Beginning in 2017 the Summer in the City Series is currently still operating successfully year after year!
